- Monitoring product quality and standards compliance (NEC, USDA, FDA, CSA, UL/ULC).
- Establishing and implementing procedures/training in the area of Design, Procurement and Assembly;
- Implementing the standard product handling system (Fabrication Order) – debugging, refining and upgrading the system to seemly integrate with regular business processes;
- USDA acceptance process for new product line of equipment built to 3A Dairy specifications using FDA current standard accepted practices and guidelines;
- Managing Engineering Design, Purchasing, Assembly and Factory Acceptance Testing departments;
- Project Management of Build to Order custom systems with controls automation integration;
- Assessing and planning manufacturing processes.
- Reviewing design requirements, production resource allocation and scheduling.
- Developing recommendations for reducing throughput times, delays and costs;
- Supervising and coordinating Design, Procurement, Assembly, Testing and Evaluation.
- Design engineering problems and conflicts resolution.
- Ensuring cost control over purchasing for manufacturing purposes.
- Maintaining liaison with main sub-suppliers for quality, expediting and cost purposes;
- Supervising production material requisition and monitored assembly shortages, ensuring that any design and assembly irregularities are promptly corrected, documented and not perpetuated.
